Mariusz Tarkawian

Mariusz Tarkawian

Mariusz Tarkawian is a keen observer of the art world; its chronicler and its futurologist. His fascination with art is total. Tarkawian constantly creates a series of drawings on this subject: In Search of ArtProspective ArtistsIn Anticipation of ArtColloquium of the History of Art and Civilization and recently even a cartoon based on travestation of well-known and lesser-known works.

Tarkawian’s work is also associated with the tradition of satirical and reportage drawing. He creates ad hoc in different situations, sometimes providing drawings with short texts, often with an ironic character.

Tarkawian uses also the walls as a base for his work. He occasionally creates electronic music.
