Xavery Woslki

Lost – Found

The exhibition of Xavery Wolski who won Hestia Artistic Journey competition is an unique view of the young artists state, the expectations which must be met them and strategies for dealing with their own aspirations. The works presented on this exhibition are kind of an effect or actually ephemerals of effects of Xavery Wolski scholarship residency in New York. Lost – Found is a story about the transition, told through the remains of this process and attempts to recreate what has been lost in this process.

Xavery Wolski was born in 1988 in Aix-en-Provence, France. He studies at the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts and was one of the More Light group founders, which was functioning from 2008 to 2010. He participated in The Importance of Dust group exhibition in Museum of Botanical Garden in Cracow. In 2014 he was awarded the first prize in Hestia Artistic Journey competition – one month long residency in The International Studio & Curatorial Program in New York.
